Susie Trout, a homemaker, mother of 3 children and grandmother of 9 grandchildren, has been a dedicated driver for the Caring Corps for 9 years. Susie and her husband, Pat, will be celebrating a 50th Wedding Anniversary in the near future!

When asked what she enjoys the most about driving for the Caring Corps, Susie exclaimed “I love it!” She has mobility issues with a pair of bad knees which limit the amount of walking she’s comfortable with. Limited walking can limit the options for volunteer opportunities. Driving for the Caring Corps is perfect for plus the scheduling flexibility works better for her schedule.

Susie’s hobbies include reading and playing bridge. But her favorite hobby is water exercise class with “the Mermaids”! This is a group of women who have become great friends, thanks to the water exercise class. In addition to regular to exercise, they also enjoy monthly lunch outings and great conversations!

Susie, you share your time and your talent, and we hope you know how much it is appreciated!
