Do you need help getting your family winter outerwear?

If your household is at or below the range below, your children can qualify for UCAN’s Winter Clothing Program. This program connects families in need with community partners & sponsors. You can request 2 items per child, but we cannot guarantee all requests will be met. Typical requests are snow boots and snow pant or tennis shoes. This program is for families who live in Urbandale who are income restricted. Please see income guidelines below to determine if you qualify. UCAN reserves the right to refuse service.  To request a coat, please contact your school.

Registration closes Oct. 1.  

If you have not registered with UCAN in 2021, you will need to provide the information below:

Proof of residency: lease, electric bill, water bill, document from school district

Proof of income: 30 days’ pay stubs, 2019 tax return, or completion of minimal income form

Valid ID for those in program: School ID, Free/Reduced lunch approval form with children’s names, birth certificate from any country, Social Security card or Medical Card.

Kids winter gear will distributed in early November.

UCAN will also hold a winter clothing giveaway in early December with gently used and new items for all ages.
